Ready to launch EARL-D4 and Dart

The EARL ProjectThe EARL-D4 sub-scale rocket-powered UAV/boost glide vehicle is ready to launch, and our sub-scale space dart vehicle is nearly ready. We now have a permit from the Romanian Ministry of Defence, to test-fly these vehicles at a military range in Romania. the first flights could occur later, this month (October), if our paperwork is deemed to be all in order and the weather is kind to us..

The EARL-D4 will be able to carry a can-sat-sized payload of ~1 kilogram will be taken to a height between 12 and 15 km. With more energetic (but expensive) propellant, the vehicle could reach 30 km. We hope to do that, next year.

The Dart is a "space-dart" type subs-scale demonstrator, that will take a small dummy payload up to a height of around 25 km. Like the EARL-D4, it will be possible to take customers' payloads of micro-gravity experiments and upper-atmosphere measurements.
