Trade Mark

The Spacefleet logo that has been in use since the company was founded in 2004 is now a registered trade mark. so, at least we can say that we have a little piece of intellectual property, all of our own!

Funding is still proving elusive. It's not so surprising, really. If the club membership increases to the levels we would like to see, then we will be in a position to pay for our own technical study, the results of which would, of course, be sent to all the club members.

When one thinks about it, it is a lot to expect, to find a financier for a project such as ours. The giving of large amounts of money depends on a large amount of trust. One can only gain the trust of a financier by first getting to know one well. The big projects in progress, such as Blue Origin, Space-X and Virgin Galactic are all supported directly by their CEO's personal cash. That's the only way it can be done, right now. So, we are setting about building Spacefleet, little by little, into a functioning aerospace company. Then we'll see where we'll get to. Even if time is beginning to run out for getting into the sub-orbital space tourism market, the really big attraction is orbital flight. That's what space travel is really all about.
